Would I Learn On A Creative Writing Course?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Creative writing covers a whole range of areas, so there are many things that you would learn.

In a creative writing course, you would probably learn how to write short stories, novels, poetry, how to promote yourself as a freelance writer and you will study different genres.

If you want a taster of what creative writing classes involve, then perhaps you could check your local library for any short classes that they might be holding (these can sometimes be two days long). If you attend one of these and decide that you like them, then perhaps you could consider taking a longer course that lasts a few months, or you could even think about taking a degree in creative writing.

Have a browse around on the internet and see if you can find any interesting courses or your library may have some leaflets on local courses.
