Economics is a social science in which production, and consumption of goods and services is studied. The reason for considering it as social science is that it includes the study of man and his relation with his environment. In 1932, Lionel Robbins defines it as a science in which human behavior is studied in relation to his environment. Therefore, it comes under social sciences. Actually it does not include creativity and expressions like art. Art is a more abstract subject while Economics does not present abstract concepts.
