I LOVE Ferrets And I Live In Illinois. Where Can I Get One?

There's only one breed of ferret, and that is ferret. If you mean 'types' as in colors, then you just have to wait for the right ones (sables are the most common), and as for where you live, ferrets should be available as long as they are legal there (the only places I know where they are still illegal are in California and Hawaï). There might still be cities where ferrets are not tolerrated, only make sure with a petstore or the city first. And any petstore will do, but learn a bit about them first to know if the one you're getting is healthy, in the right age-range and not from some unlisenced mill.


Adopting one is also a plus (I live in Calgary, Alberta, and FRES has +70 ferrets that have been surrendered and without good families to go to) think about it. :)
