Why Don't Bus Drivers Wait For People?

Every one tries to reach his destination as soon as he can and the bus drivers are no exception; they don't wait because people are waiting for them to come and as soon as they come, people board the bus and they start. If you are not on the bus stop and the bus comes and you are shouting for the bus to wait from behind, it all depends upon the driver's mood to stop or not to stop. Sometimes he is in relaxed mood and if you are calling him during that period, he is expected to wait for you at least for a while. But if he was caught in the traffic jam for a long period and he is already late for the destination, you can't expect him to wait for you even for a few seconds.
So I suggest you to be on time for your bus and don't expect them to wait for you.

Because there are other people waiting for the Bus drivers. Each person in the world is committed to something. You are on the Bus stop, means that you are committed somewhere, may be going to office or to see your girl friend. Similarly the Bus driver's job is to pick hundreds of people like you who are on their way.
So stop thinking about the driver who has gone. Wait for the next one who is Just for you.

The answer is simple. They HAVE to keep to a schedule. As a matter of face, bus drivers in L.A. That work for the Metro Transit Authority have to have a UNIFORM watch that keeps time to the seconds. Of course the watch is part of the uniform.
