Do You Think That Crime Films Can Desensitise Us To Real Life Crime?

Answer Question

In a way, yes.......but it would depend on each person's individual character..for myself, I know this would not be the case.....a real crime, etc. I know is not a good thing....the films have nothing to do with it......but perhaps, for some people, the two are bound together......so their attitude might be - "oh, someone was killed in a car accident? Too bad".......it's all a matter of your character and upbringing....

I think so and yes i agree that it's up to the person at hand, but if were bringing children up watching gangland and other tv shows on how to murder , plots to hire it really is hard to teach them right from wrong when 99.9% are saying if it feels good do it and that's what is on television all the time and if cops, and gangland shows are giving them publicity on tv then "Hey this is the way to be recongnized even if it's negative and the films like saw 1,,,,5 are posted where can they not be desensitized 24 hours of the day ? Lord knows a whole lot they can pick up in the street now days , so tv is like pushing it as the norm. No wonder we got luniticks running around shooting up schools and doing all kinds of hideous things and tv industry need to do an overhaul , because the economy has enough problems and to create what you fear all the time on film is most likely to happen in real life. You be surprised at how many people loose touch with reality because they like some character in a movie they want to be like and most likely it's some murderous, or gang member, occult blood thrashing movie they copied off of.   Back when morals and profanity couldn't be broadcasted and movies were imagination , I wouldn't have dreamed we would be were we are in the movie industry. I was pretty much born in the late 60's
