I think fear of the unknown is the kicker when it comes to death we hear all these things from those that are still alive and don't know anymore than you or I,No one has passed on and come back to let us know what to expect once we are deceased, and then there are the things we do know deteriating, bug eaten flesh, but we do know from the medical profession the breath leaves and as far as we know that is the spirit, because we can not see it,when it leaves just the reaction from your body being still, no more rise and fall of the chest etc..this is my story and I'm sticking to it,and this I'm sure we will never know until it is our time.....luck to you....

There is nothing to fear about death if you are a Christian, you believe in God and live by his word. It is a nature part of life and everyone will do it. Only if you do things to hurt others and don't believe in God, should you fear dying.

I fear only the manner of the event, not the event itself. None of us will get out of this world alive. I have faced death a few times and only feared it the3 very first time, at the age of 17, until I realized that death is the final part of our existence on earth. When it occurs, My only wish is that it is not too painful and does not linger. I know that there are greater things ahead for me, after death.

The biggest fear I have when it comes to death is dying alone. No family. No friends. No one caring.
The other fear I have is what kind of burden will I leave behind Hospital bills,Doctor bills,The decision being placed on someone to pull the plug if it comes to that.

I am not scared of death... I am however scared of where I would go if I committed suicide so I will let fate take it's course and welcome death when it is my turn to go...

The sun is going down and on my face there is a frown
I look at the life all around but there is nothing to see not up not down
I can feel the clouds filling my mind and the thunder that crashes deep inside
With each beat the rain begins to pour with each drop there is more and more
My eyes begin to swell and may face is now real pale
I am as if a ghost a body with no host
I look at myself from a distance thinking to get help or assistance
There is no hope my body is so empty it could float
The rain has swept me away I will not live to see another day

The death angel and the Life after death. The fear of Life after death is the one that is keeping me alive today.
It is firmly believed, as according to faith, that as soon as someone dies and gets buried in grave. The spirit of dead again meets dead body and goes inside it. After that two angels come and here begins evaluations of  good and bad deeds on earth. If someone's bad deeds had more intensity the he/she gets HORRIBLE PUNISHMENT inside grave and people on upper world gets no idea about it.
Sometimes coz of any reason, the body of dead is needed to be taken outside grave, It can be seen whether it is getting punishment or not.
I got pictures showing the intense torture received by a boy inside grave who was involved in serious bad deeds. I can send it to you, But as far as I remember I did that already with whole story written in it!

I fear that i could die at any moment and i don't like that. I want to be around for a long, long, long time!!! I hope this never ever happens but i also fear that something could happen to one of my kids and they go before they get a chance to grow up. It happens to children everyday and it's so sad. I couldn't image what that would be like.

I faced death in the Nam and was scared sh#tless the first couple of times. I was afraid I would go MIA and no one would ever know what happened to me. But that's an earthly worry. I can honestly say when I set foot back in the USA that fear of death did not return with me. Wrote a poem once to my wife, put it in a card. Sort of sums it up: Across the years I will walk with you/In deep green forests, on shores of sands/And when our time on earth is through/In Heaven, too, you will have my hand.

Turning into a ghost- because death surprised me by sneaking up. Nah...not really!
I have done so much more than I could have imagined. I am not fully satisfied-so much to see of this world, but enough to say "ok that's more than enough".
I suppose if I had a fear of dying it would be dying somewhere where I cannot be found and all my family and friends would forever wonder about me and miss me and not had a chance to say goodbye.

I don't know that anyone actually fears death i think they fear(doubting thomas) not knowing or believing what happens next...i think i am more how to say this curious, wanting to see what is actually around the next bend (in driving terms)...i hang onto the words of the bible and that Jesus has beaten death hell and the grave...so sort of the reverse of those decals you see on the backs of cars that say fear this..the Lord says fear not because he is with you always...as he also taught us he will never leave you or forsake you (so remember that above all things)...sort of like the things the world is going through right now ,wars, earthquakes, storms, economy these are all things above my pay grade so to speak so I give them to God....like he(the lord) says give him your burdens his yoke is easy(in other words he will not give you anything you can't handle)... This is what I have learned over the last 27 years further showing that this world(life) is just a dressing room for your(anyones) real life in heaven or hell it's your(anyones) choice...this is what I fear the most, people (anyone I have seen touched or heard of)losing their real life by not making a simple choice of everlasting life in paradise.... Or should i say not choosing and ending up in a place no one would choose if they ever read a description of it...I would say I'm sorry for being preachy but some one has to say it when asked about fearing death....if there is anything to fear it is leaving your family, friends neighbors, relatives behind not knowing if they know where they are going before they pass from this earth.........remember you asked.......: )

My biggest fear of death is my lack of faith, and the question of "whats after death"... Is it just nothingness, or what? I've met too mant hypocritical "christians" that it's impossible to believe in a magical place called heaven where we all will exist forever in peace and harmony.... Although Id LIKE to believe thats true,,, I just cant. Id also like to believe we get more than one chance at life and will be reincarnated. I guess I'm too practical of a person and I want solid proof.. And not just words in an old book, but tangible PROOF of what really happens after we die.

I don't really have a fear of death. I pray it will be peaceful of course. The worst fear I have is of leaving my husband behind, alone. He's never been this content or more sure of life than now. My sudden leaving would surely devastate him. It scares me terribly that he would be so vulnerable at his age.

It is not death I fear it is the idea that I feel nobody else would really care that I died.  There are probably only 10 people in my life that I feel really care enough to mourn my death and come to my funeral.  My "friends" were not true friends, they cared more about everything else than a friendship with me.  My family for the most part lives too far away or would not be able to afford the trip to my funeral...it's sad to think that the people closest to me would basically only have each other for support.
