What Is The Programme ‘How Clean Is Your House’ About?

The programme How clean is your house is a tongue in cheek, fly on the wall documentary type programme that features two cleaning experts who explore the homes of people who are complete strangers to housework.

A different home is featured each week in the series; the state of the homes are unbelievable to most people and it is hard to imagine how people can face living in them. One example was a single man who worked as a dog walker for a living. He lived with his dog in a flat that had not been cleaned or tidied for 10 years. The floor was knee deep in catarrh filled tissues. YUK!

In the second part of the programme, the householder is shown lots of cleaning and tidying techniques and the house or flat is transformed with cleaning products and a lot of effort from a whole team of cleaners.

Two weeks later the programme presenters return for a review – what happens after that is anyone's guess.
