    How Do You Write In Expanded Form: 22,475 And 1,784,961 And 45,116,824 And 763,281

    I'm having trouble trying to write expanded form of the numbers I've listed...Help!!

    By expanding form you mean in descriptive form?
    However, In descriptive form:

    22, 475 = Twenty-two thousand four hundred seventy-five.

    1, 784, 961 = one million seven hundred eighty-four thousand nine
    hundred sixty-one.

    45, 116, 824 = Forty-five million one hundred sixteen thousand eight
    hundred twenty-four.

    763, 281 = Seven hundred sixty-three thousand two hundred eighty-one.

      1,784,961 = 1,000,000 + 700,000 + 80,000 + 4,000 + 900 + 60 + 1

      45,116,824 = 40,000,000 + 5,000,000 + 100,000 + 10,000 + 6,000 +
        800 + 20 + 4


      763,281 = 700,000 + 60,000 + 3,000 + 200 + 80 + 1

      Expanded form sums the digits written so that they demonstrate their place value.

      Expanded form is written in words. For example: 52,745= fifty two thousand seven hundred forty five. Hope this helps
