There are a few places in the United States where you can purchase one, but it requires a lot of paperwork and money. Insurance is what costs you the most. I have 2, and the insurance on both of them is $400 a month. The best places to look for one are mostly overseas. It will take alot of research befre you can get the permit to own one, but it is legal here. It is just not an ordinary pet, like a cat or dog, so people get confused and panicky about it.
