The royal Buckingham palace is not just another palace. It has loads of treasures inside it housing some of the finest English and French furniture not to be seen anywhere else in the world. It is a virtual treasure trove of antiques art pieces and much more like paintings by great painters such as Rembrandt, Rubens, Vermeer, Poussin, Canaletto and Claude and sculpture by Canova and Chantre and also exquisite examples of Sevres porcelain.
A popular feature of the Palace, the Royal Mews, is a stable one of the finest of its kind where the Royal Household department goes about their task which includes providing transport facilities for the Royal family by horse drawn carriage or by motor car.
Some of the famous attractions include state vehicles like the Gold State Coach used mainly on the occasion of coronations and other regal vehicles used on special occasions, on state visits and opening of Parliament. Buckingham Palace is home to most of the Royal Collection and attracts a large number of visitors about 50,000 annually it is not officially an art gallery or a museum.
