I Am A Single Parent Of 3 Boys And On Welfare. How Can I Get A Scholarship For Them To Join A Karate Studio? They Have Done Karate In The Past But I Now Can't Afford Them To Rejoin.

I was told by a friend that there are scholorships for children to join extracurricular activities outside their school. Is that true? I cannot afford to resign them up for karate class due to the fact that I am now on welefare and food stamps due to my being a victim of D.V. All my boys want to rejoin.

Sometimes parks have free or discounted programs--I have heard that sometimes if U ask the karate instruction there is a way for you to not pay because maybe someone has donated $$$

If you lived South of Seattle... He could train with me and do odd jobs to offset lessons. He would have to buy a gi (uniform $10-20) pay for testing promotions, and not be a quiter. That means his parents not be quiters or enablers of quiting. Example: My sons hated to go train but I made them. At age 15 my son came to me and said he was glad that I make him train and not let him quit. He is in his 3rd year of college in Jerusalem.
