Is Hand Sanitizer As Good As Washing Your Hands?

It seems that hand sanitizer is actually better for your hands than simply washing them. It gets rid of just as many, if not more bacteria as soap and water does and the best thing about it is that you can apply it anywhere. However, it seems that not all sanitizers are as good for you as others. In order for them to work to their maximum ability, the alcohol content within them has to be at least 60%.
Of course the best benefits of hand sanitizers are that you can use them to protect your hands literally anywhere that you are. You can use them after using public transport, public toilets and after you have been shopping in the supermarket. Germs can be found almost anywhere where there are a large number of people and that means that you are not safe from diseases anywhere that you go. So, protecting your hands straight away with hand sanitizer is by far one of the best things you can do when you cannot get to soap and water.
