Cats can sometimes develop extra teeth which can cause overcrowding or injury in the mouth. This could be the problem your cat might be experiencing. Or they have developed an infection in the mouth which will need to be attended too. I suggest you should take your cat to the vet to have it examined especially because it is losing weight and obviously in pain due to the noise. Good luck! Hope it gets better soon.
