How Do I Deter My Pup From Eliminating In His Crate?

I'm sorry to hear that your pup is having issues.

It is very good that you have someone come in to walk the pup during the day.  Does the walker walk him in the same fashion as you?  Does he bring him to the same places and for the prescribed amount of time?  Does he play with the pup while he is there?  Sometimes we must look at the very simplest of possibilities first.

Here is another idea for you.  Since animals don't usually "go" where they eat, you might want to put a food bowl in the kennel with him, perhaps putting a few toys in it to give him the hint.

Keep part of the crate and put it in a sand box out side along with a pile of sand  throw away the rest of the crate and clean the area where it was kept. Lead the dog to the area where the piece of the old crate that he went on is and keep him there until he goes. Repeat everyday until he gets use to going only in that area. Then take away that area  and lead him to where you want him to go . Make sure you follow the same path each time. After a while the dog will go just about anywhere outside..hope this helps

Take him outside before you put him in his crate, he probably doesn't like laying in it so he should figure it out.
