What Is John Eldredge's Take On Matters Of Heart?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

The Wild at Heart author believes that the core of life is our heart. The life that we lead be it a poetic life, an inspiring life, a spiritual life-all flow from within the heart. Eldredge has stated that the heart is the essence of all desires, interests and memories. According to him, there is a difference between the way  men and women react to things. For instance, while women love to be pursued, men love to pursue.

Also there is a difference in the 'fear' aspect for both the sexes. When fear grips a man, he becomes passive. When fear influences a woman, she gains an innate sense of courage and starts to control the situation. While the fear of a woman generally is isolation, neglect and abandonment, the fear of a man is failure.
