In the year of 1944, Sarah Vaughan joined the band of Billy Eckstine. In that place she gained experience as well as exposure to the new style of music, Bebop. Later she recorded music albums with Dizzy Gillespie and Charlie Parker, the stars of that time. In her career she used to sing both popular music and jazz. Sarah Vaughan became a soloist for the rest of her career. Her vast range as well as wide vibrato and harmonic sensitivity enabled Sarah Vaughan to employ an apparently instrumental approach in the timing of her singing as well as a jazz soloist.
