    Lead poisoning basically is a medical condition, which is also well known as saturnism, plumbism or even painter's colic. It is generally caused because of amplified blood lead levels in the body.

    When suffering from lead poisoning giving healthy, low-fat foods to your child will be helpful, because the outcome of lead poisoning is aggravated by food which has high fat content. Lead poisoning is often caused when lead is taken into the body mainly via ingestion of substances like dust, soil and paint containing lead.  

    The most common symptoms of lead poisoning are neurological problems like reduced IQ, nausea, abdominal pain, irritability, insomnia, headache, etc and in severe cases seizure and coma. Lead has no recognized natural role in the body.
