Ch’in Dynasty is very important in Chinese history because this was the fist time that all the states and regions were united under one empire however ir is considered to be an evil dynasty in Chinese history because of their autocratic and at times cruel decisions. They are however accredited for their political brilliance. They followed a policy of territorial expansion and introduced a new form of government based on legalism which assumes all human beings to be innately selfish and have to be controlled through rules and regulations. To follow this they had strict punishments for those who broke the law but because of their emphasis on a strong central government, strong military and controlled economy, they were able to make the kingdom very powerful. This model served as a role model for the future dynasties to come. In order to make the government strong feudal system was abolished. The laws were harsher for those in the government and corruption was reworded with death. Schools of philosophy were outlawed and teachers were executed, there was forced labor and high taxes that made the people revolt and the dynasty only lasted 15 years.
