The different types of fuels available are Fossil fuel, Bio-fuels like alcohol fuel and bio-diesel which are created from different types of biomass. The biomass basically is a plant substance obtained from plants like hemp, maize, sugarcane, etc.

Most of these bio-fuels are created throughout photosynthesis when energy from the sun extracts oxygen from carbon dioxide and water.
