Is It Possible For Long Distance Relationships To Survive?

People always seem to have bad experiences where their long distance relationship that they thought was going well, ends, and they don't know what went wrong. I'm really hopeful that there are those situations where it is possible for a long distance relationship to survive. I'm lost. Help much appreciated.

Surely long distance relations survive. I am witness of many real life examples. One of my friend is in love with a person whom she never met and they just talk on telephone. The person lives in the other city. But still their relation is going well for the past two years and they are happy. To make distant relations work you have to be patient and trustful of your partner.

I met a woman who I was somewhat attracted to and one week later was transferred out of the country. Nine months later I returned and married her. Been married now for almost 33 years. Our entire courtship was by snail mail; back then e-mail had not even been thought of. So I guess the answer to your question is yes it is possible.
