Can Anybody Tell Me About The Considerations To Be Taken While Designing Certificate Templates?

The most important certificate template design consideration is that a certificate must match an objective and purpose behind issuing it. The owner of the certificate must be able to use it for the intended purpose however the issuing authority should design a certificate template in such a way that certificate holder should not use it for unintended or malicious tasks. For example; if somebody has got certification in Microsoft Office then that person should not use this certificate when applying for a programming job.

Other design considerations to be considered are the following;Why a certificate to be issued? Means is there any specific reason for issuing a certificate?Who needs certification?Should certificates once issued will remain valid for a lifetime or for some specific time-interval also, i.e. let's say 6 months, 1 year, 2 years etc?What should be the procedure of getting a certificate?What are the minimum criteria of getting a certificate? For Example; if only graduates can get a certificate or non-graduates can get it also?
