Check to see if it might need water. Be careful  when removing the lids...the water does turn into acid.

Would need to know what year your vehicle is. Older models have the voltage regulator, usually mounted on the inside fender, while late models have the regulator built into the alternater.
Also would need to know how old your battery is and if you have a check engine light on.
You shouldn't pull the caps to check the water level in the battery if it is or has been running beforehand. This can cause the acid to spew out and can be very dangerous. Especially to your eyes and torso if it comes into contact with your body.

Maybe the battery itself is bad.

You could either have something drawing your battery down, or could have a bad cell in the battery.
