If You Give Your Puppy Pepto Do You Give Them Children's?

My shih tzpuppy has an upset stomach and I have read that pepto is OK but was just wondering should it be the children's chewable tablets?

    The dosage would be...  1 tsp. Per 5 lb. every 6 hrs. As needed, (i.e. 3-4 tbsp. Per 60-lb. Dog every 6 hrs.)

    WE USUALLY END UP STAYING THE SAME THINGS... BUT 9 OUT OF 10 TIMES YOU BEAT ME TO IT!

      Some medicines used by human beings have been known to work with dogs without causing any harm. However it would suit you best to first confirm with your vet. Some vets will prescribe children's aspirin or benadryl for pets but they might not necessarily advise you to do the same with pepto in your puppy's case. So check with him or her first.

        Thank you for your advice the vet said no to the pepto and to just see if the upset stomach goes away in 24 hours and it did she is just fine now.
