    Action research is known to be a reflective process of progressive problem solving that is done by individuals who are either working with others in the form of teams or they are working as being part of a "community of practice", this is done so they can solve problems and address issues in a better and improved manner.

    Action research is sometime be used by larger organizations or institutions, at these institutions they take assistance or guidance by professional researchers. They are with the aim of improving their strategies, practices, and knowledge of the environments in which they are working.
