Johnny Winters is an American artist. He is a guitarist, singer and a producer. He has a problem with albinism. He has given several hit songs and has a successful career. He started of with his recording career at a very small age. He has a career spanning more than 30 years. He is from Texas and recently his disc was nominated for a Grammy award.

I just saw Johnny Winters June 28, 2009 in Va. Beach at Sand Stock.  It was free to the public and it was one of the best concerts I have ever witnessed.  It appears that Johnny's health is not the best, but his talent has never been better.  As one of his band was leaving the motor coach heading to the stage, he shouted back, "just put his shoes on and give him his pick"  Yea, he has trouble getting to the stage, but once there he never missed a beat.  I was in awe that a man his age could move his fingers that fast.  It was better that watching Bruce Hornsby play the piano. After the show, as autographs were being signed by the band and a few by Johnny, I asked the door man if I could get a picture of Johnny and my 13 yr old daughter, who thought he was great.  The doorman said no.  I said just ask Johnny, the reply "just one" so my daughter and I went into the motor coach she sat beside him and I took the picture.  As we left, the doorman told the hundreds of fans still waiting, that's it, he is done for tonight.  He did look tired, but sure sounded great.  Without a doubt one of the greatest guitarist in the world.
