Is There Any Heartworm Meds That Don't Require A Prescription?

Answer Question

3 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

No, there isn't an over the counter medicine for heart worm. There is over the counter medicine for dogs to rid themselves of other worms and parasites.

A vet needs to do proper testing first to ensure the dog does not already have heartworm before the can give you a heartworm prevention medicine.
