Does A Landlord Have To Provide A Fence Around A Pool?

I am making a move to a home with a screened in pool directly off the home. There are two entries to the pool from the home with-out an alarm. In the state of Florida is the landlord required to provide a fence around the pool to prevent children from falling into the pool?

Not in Florida.  my law professor & I argued over & over about this.  he explained that fl has lakes, canals & beaches therefore a pool is not considered "a danger that one would not come into contact with elsewhere in the state"♥

Not sure what the laws are but the property owner would be responsible not the tenant for such things if required by law. I would at least get a floating alarm that sounds when the water moves to alert  people of something in the water.
