Sweden is the large country in the north and Switzerland is the smaller country close to Italy. Yes most Americans don't know that Switzerland every exist they do know about Sweden but they confuse these two countries.

People here don't confuse it because Switzerland is taken as paradise here for spending vacations but Sweden is just known as Norway's neighbor with very little knowledge about it.
