Why Are My Questions Not Approved?

Make sure you've used polite language (no profanity, slang others wouldn't understand, and so on). Check to see if your question has been answered here before by using the search box at the top of the page next to the "GO!" button. Read through the "help" section to see if there's some other error you can correct.

You can see the reason for disapproval and modify your answer to resubmit, if appropriate, by going to "Control Panel" (link is at top right of every page).  Then click on My Questions (my Q's) tab to see all of your questions.  Click on the word "disapproved" next to the question you are wondering about./ A pop up appears describing the reason.  There you may have option to modify and resubmit in some cases, depending on why it was disapproved in the first place.
