What Do I Need To Make The Virtual Office Work?

Answer Question

If your job is to deal with the clients outside the office premises all you need is a lap top. With lap top you feel most convenient as you don't need to take files with you always.  Docking station makes it easy to have a normal key board, mouse, monitor, fax machine, printer, scanner and other peripherals hooked with your system and always ready to use. But if your job is to stay at your office and do the work all you need is a traditional desk top computer. Along with that a hard ware with a lot of space, a bit fast processor and memory so that the programs can run at any time. If graphics are involved than much RAM is required.

Some more equipment you should consider for making your virtual office work is:
    Hardware equipments:
    Laser printer
    Color laser printer
    Fax machine
    Scanner
    CD writer
    DVD RAM
    Removable media storage
    Modem
    Digital camera
    A multi purpose scanner
    The software requirements:
    An e mail program
    A word processor
    Spread sheet and database program
    Presentation software
    Virus protection software
A utility program for computer maintenance
    Portable document format (PDF)
    Graphics and/or image editing tool
