Apples have high fibre content aiding the digestive process.

    Apples contain antioxidants and flavonoids, that enhances immunity and also prevent fatal diseases like cancer and heart problems. Green apples can cleanse gall bladder and liver and also soften gallstones.

    Consumption of apple during fever is advised since the high water content in apple help in moistening and cooling the body. Apple also contains pectin that reduces high cholesterol and blood sugar and can be consumed by people with diabetes and coronary artery malfunction.

    Apples also contain properties that act as anti-rheumatic, stomachic, anti-diarrhoeal, laxative, diuretic and muscle tonic. Apples contain folic acid, potassium and vitamin C which are all vital for the human body.
