The student loans do prevent you from getting another loan. Because as per the student history, you are eligible for not more than one loan. But if your credit history is good, you might get a chance.

Your history of prompt on time repayment history has all to do with being seen as responsible to the lender. If the total monthly income is in fact large enough to repay the school loans and any other financial payments such as credit card debts as well as the house mortgage with taxes and does not exceed a percentage set by the mortgage lender, you will be lent the monies to purchase the home or town house. Speak directly to the bank that handles your current checking accounts and or savings accounts, and ask for general information. The bank employee will show to you the range that the bank will lend according to your circumstances. Do it now so you will know exactly what your credit rating is and how costly a property you might be able to buy.
