The two main etiquette which you should consider on telephone is your voice quality and clear and concise expressions. In addition to these two etiquette there are a number of other as well. For example, always dial and check the number to avoid any wrong call. It is considered an etiquette because your wrong call can disturb other people.

Make your conversation very brief because the other person may not be in a position to excuse you. If you are calling then tell the other person right away because according to telephone etiquette, the dialer should introduce himself first. If you are making a business call then make it as brief as you can.

Do not misbehave on telephone and if you have dialed a wrong number then say sorry. If you are dialing and someone is not receiving then it is preferable according to etiquette to disconnect and try later on. There are many other important etiquette which the operators at call centers have to follow.
