Well, it does not smell exactly pleasant. Napalm is nothing but jellied gasoline. It is a highly inflammable liquid used in flame throwers and bombs. Napalm is a mixture of gasoline added with petroleum fuel with appropriate thickening agents. Depending upon the intensity of thickeners (example aluminium or polystyrene) the 'gooeyness' of the gel napalm can vary from syrupy to rubbery. When napalm burns, it emits a characteristic smell. The smell is offensive and reeks of petrol. Napalm was developed and used by the US during the World War II. It was also used in the Vietnam War. Napalm can cause fatality or severe burns. It is illegal to produce napalm.
