I would get him over to your local animal hospital or vet if his vomiting stays much longer. Some lizards may have bacteria that may hurt your cat. Who knows it may turn out to be nothing bit to be on the safe side you should probably get him checked out. Good Luck

I agree the tail could have just made him sick or could be poisonous to your cat. Here is a article discussing this topic. Hope this helps. Www.totalfrance.com/France/forum/viewtopic.php?t=13790

The bet is the best to check if any piece is logged somewhere. I would give it Montmorillonite Terramine Clay for cats or for people. Look for distributors of this medicinal clay on line. I use it myself and my cat has been throwing up or with diarrhea I gave her a bit of paste from it and it healed her in the spot immediately. Read about this miraculous clay. People this clay raises your PH and helps fight pathogens germs bacteria and food poisoning on the spot. Make sure that the cat does not trow up because a fur ball is logged into her digestive track she will die without help. Get help at the pet store to dissolve any fur balls but hopefully she has no liver problems. This clay is for cats too it is cheaper for cats. Two pounds for about eleven bucks brought right to your door. It has sixty minerals and needed negative ions that stick to positive a million one poisonous substances in the digestive track of men and animals check it out. I use it.
      Hope this helps.
