Formerly a Post Office worker, Ian Hanmore (real name MacDonald) lives in Scotland and trained as an actor at Telford College. He is a angular looking man, with a wiry body, but a keen wit, strong intelligence and skill in the field of film and television acting.
He has appeared in Young Adam, Gas Attack, Mrs Henderson Presents, Life on Mars, Doctor Who, Monarch of the Glen, Outlaws and No Angels. (unfortunately as a drunk Scotsman)
On stage he has performed in The Borrowers and The Crucible He also appeared in Savage/Love at the RSAMD Masters of Directing Showcase in 2001 with Claire Lamont.
In the UK, Ian is represented by the actor's agent Curtis Brown in London. He was formerly with Anne Coulter and Maryam Hunwick, although now he is getting more regular telly work with C/B.
He is a fine man who plays the guitar.
