What Is Central Government?

    Central government refers to the government ruling at the centre of the country. It is situated at a national level. Hence it is also known as the national government. National security, international relations, diplomatic assignments and the governing of all the smaller governments are the duties and responsibility of a government at this level.

    It even has the exclusive right to sign treaties and bonds with other countries and organizations like UN. It is also involved in the law making process of the country. National governments are usually coalition governments and have members belonging to all the major parties in the country.
