Bodrum is a former fishing village, turned tourist holiday destination, at the city port of Bodrum, where the waters of the Aegean and the Mediterranean meet. It is served by Bodrum airport which is thirty minutes away. It has two small beaches, a small sandy beach and a small pebble beach, which is also used by restaurant owners as additional seating areas for their establishments. The area is known as the St Tropez of Turkey.

Temperatures in Bodrum are great all year round and the sea is lovely and warm even in winter.

At Bodrum there is a beautiful ancient castle of Peter which houses a museum and was home to some Christian crusaders amongst many others.

For those looking for a summer home, Bodrum is excellent value with great properties available across the sea, with swimming pools and great sea views.

If you with the see Bodrum, regular flights leave all major airports in Europe.
