Why Does My Toshiba Turn Off After A Minute?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

It's important to know what Operating System is on the Toshiba to start the guesswork but for example lets assume it's Windows XP. Right click anywhere on a black part of your desktop and then click properties from the list. Then click the "Screensaver" tab.  From there you should get a good look at what you got on that Toshiba
going on in this particular circumstance. This is where power settings are enabled and disabled as you'll
see like turning on and off the PC at set times. Pretty self explainatory from there what you need to do to
adjust settings if need be from that point. . Change what you need and click apply, then click OK as you
close out of each menu screen back to the desktop screen.  This is the best place to start. Windows Vista operating system is almost identical in this procedure as Windows XP operating system to apply power option settings to the computer.
    Hope this helps. GL
