Why Is Racism So Different In America?
If a white person kills a black person automatically it is racism a hate crime but when a black person kills a white person you hear race had nothing to do with it.Why is one racism but not the other?I do not understand this.

You are right it is a double standard and it sucks. The best explanation is that "us White Minority" are still trying to compensate for all those years of slavery. In my opinion the attitude that the "negro man" needs all the help he can get, is just as racist if not more. Which brings me to a side point if your will forgive the tirade. The double standard illustrated by our host lawless, is exactly why we as a people are not ready for Barack Obama to be president.

I would like Obama to become president because it would show that not only white men have power. It could show that an african american could run our country....that it has nothing to do with our race or religion and stuff like that! =)

I don't understand this either....its like the problem with "nigger" blacks call eachother it but if a white person says it its racism....but they can call us "CRACKERS"?!!?!? I hate people like that they think they own the place. I think its because maybe when we had the African Americans as slaves...they had a lot of whipping and stuff like that going on. Whereas not many blacks had the nerve to stand up to a white man at that time in our history.

I suppose that is like taking a bad situation and making the best of it,I guess it is a means of survival,I can't imagine going through what they went through and survive,there has to be social,mental etc. Problems.
It is just how the old double standard raises its ugly head in rcial issues . Damn i hate racism

I believe the reason is because before in america the whites use to brutally enslave blacks and also if you look at it most of the black men with fame get killed most times by white men ex. Martin luther king jr., evers (and when i say fame I mean real fame so not like 50 cent or lil wayne who don't no nothing) so to make it up to them the gov. Probably decided to make a law like that hoping that blacks wouldn't say that there is no law to protect them
