What Does The Term "hands" Mean At A Rabbit Show?

I am getting into the rabbit breeding business & when I encounter someone that shows rabbits professionally they always talk about how many "hands" their rabbit won at a show. I'm sure it's some type of points system like used at dog or cats shows but can someone explain it in laymans' terms to me please?

Normally it is said:" legs won in the show". It means number of championship it won. For example this English Angora rabbit won a "leg" on her initial appearance in the show cage. "So similarly few people cal it "hands" instead of legs if they don't see championship as a whole but individually count points given to each rabbit.
