Is There Any Chemicals In Distilled Water?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Of course, there is obviously Hydrogen and Oxygen which are obviously chemicals. If you are asking if distilled water is pure then I suppose it depends on the environment of which you are exposing it. For example, in any given environment, distilled water will not be pure simply because it will react to the carbon dioxide in the air to form carbonic acid. Thus, distilled water is, in a pure environment, purified water, however, if not in an enclosed, sterile environment it is not pure and hence contains chemicals.
