Answer Question

Rice flour, also known as rice powder, is made from finely milled white raw rice. It is used to make fresh rice noodles, sweets and pastries, and is a staple food item throughout Southeast Asia. Rice flour is used to thicken oriental dishes and is also an important  ingredient in Thai desserts.

In recent years, the usage of rice flour has been growing rapidly in the United States. Historically, it has been used in rice crispies and baby foods. Rice flour is used in crackers, cereals, chips, snacks and more.

Long grain rice flour (standard rice flour) provides a crispy texture for creals and chips. It is used as a part of the coating found on french fries.

Medium grain rice flour provides a lighter texture. When puffed,  It provides a little more expansion than long grain rice flour. You can buy rice flour at your local supermarket. I've seen it for as little as £0.48! You can either purchase at stores or online, whichever you prefer.
