How Should One Play Double Bass?

Double bass musicians have both the options i.e. to stand and play or to sit and play. When the musician is standing, the height of the double bass has to be adjusted the endpin, by doing this the height is adjusted and thus making it comfortable for the player place his right hand close to the bridge in both the Arco and pizzicato playing technique.

When the musician is sitting and playing the double bass he is provided with a stool which is measured by the seam length of the player, although traditionally the double bass musicians preferred to play in the standing posture, however in recent times all soloists have been choosing to sit and play.
