This is usually a sign of the body aborting the fetus BUT you can bleed and remain pregnant -- you must see your ob/gyn or the emergency room doctor immediately. If your body has rejected the fetus, then the doctor needs to make certain that it is all gone and will probably perform a D&C procedure. If the fetus is still viable, then they take measures to protect it for the duration of the pregnancy. I am sorry to hear this. I hope everything is OK.
