What Type Of Wave Is Light?

Answer Question

4 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

Microwaves are light. They are in the microwave and are what warm up the food, but you can't see them. This is because light can travel through vacuums, which are  matter less spaces. Therefore the light does not have to be carried through matter which is the only way you can see it.

Light travels in a straight line at a varying amplitude and direction. In other words light travels in a straight line but it has the properties of a Sine wave.
