What Was Saint Pauls Thorn In His Side?

Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

The thorn in the Apostle Paul's flesh was an ailment of some sort, most likely an ailment of the eye. This can be surmised from the fact that he normally had a scribe to write his letters or epistles while he dictated but in his epistle to the Churches of Galatia he says: Gal 6:11 "ye see how large a letter I have written unto you with mine own hand". This verse clearly states that since the Churches of Galatia were in crisis  he felt his guidance was urgently needed and  did not have the time to wait for a scribe and he decided to write the epistle himself.
