Whoever put an "X" on my answer does not really understand the terms cc & ml. If you want to check it out look in Remington's texbook-practice of pharmacy.

1000cc does not exactly = 1 liter. 1000mls= exactly 1 liter. cc and ml although frequently interchangeable, are not exact equivalents. mls is now preferred in medicine.
