Can Horses Stay In The Field?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Horses should be given shelter. Depending on how much land/field you have per horse you have should determine how long a horse stays out of the barn or exercise area. The horse should spend less time in the field during the winter to give the field a chance to rest and replenish. They should also stay out of the field for a minimum of three days if your field has been treated (insecticides).

Sorry it's not a yes or no answer. Consider the well being of your horse.
