We always mix dry puppy food, wet puppy food and milk re placer in the blender. As the pups get older, you can adjust the chunkiness of the food as they learn how to chew. We do this until they are ready for solid food and it has always worked very well. So it is a mix of dry puppy food wet puppy food and milk re placer.
